When building our pool a few years ago, I knew the pool equipment would be exposed to the unrelenting mercy of the sun's powerful UV rays. I wanted something to protect the pool equipment that was light, durable, aesthetically pleasing, and would allow full access for cleaning and maintenance. A prototype was built, and UV Protection Systems was born!
Now, I've made it my mission to offer this same protection to you, which includes offering a limited lifetime warranty on your shade structure!

Photodegradation is the damage you see on anything left outdoors from consistent ultraviolet radiation exposure. The sun is actually physically changing the molecular structure of your patio furniture, your kids' toys, your wood deck, and even your car's paintjob!

What is it made of?
Our frame is made of lightweight aluminum with an anodized finish - a process that creates a protective layer to protect against corrosion and give the aluminum a smooth, refined look. Everything is held together with stainless steel hardware.
The cloth is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a non-toxic, lead and heavy-metal free material that blocks up to 95% of the sun's harmful UV rays.
